A red wine stain on a pale-colored carpet is the worst. But there is hope, as long as you act quickly.
✅ Soak up as much of the red wine as possible by pressing a paper towel or napkin against the stain.
✅ Be careful not to rub: this could work the wine stain deeper into the fabric.
✅ Don’t let it dry. While the red wine is still wet, pour some white wine on it to dilute the color.
✅ Then, clean the spot with a sponge and cold water.
✅ Sprinkle the area with salt and wait about 10 minutes.
✅ Now vacuum up the whole mess.
